About Us
It Stoned Me Designs was created in 2015 by Emily Hirsch (although she started selling patches and patchwork in 2009 under the name of Blight Designs). We are based out of a small Colorado town called Oak Creek, just about 20 miles south of Steamboat Springs. Our company and products are highly influenced by the music of The Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, Billy Strings, and more. We strive to bring unique, quality items to the lot. Everything is made out of our studio in the Rocky Mountains. Our passion is live music and the products come directly from the expierence. Please contact us with any questions on custom orders.
Emily has been sewing since the age of 8. She worked in a quilt shop throughout college, and bought her first embroidery machine in 2020. She has a full time career as a dental hygienist, but works on her embroidery machines almost everyday. She is a mom to a 7 year old boy named Cassady Rider, three dogs, and a tortiose. When she is not sewing she is usually playing in the montains and rivers of Colorado or traveling to see the next Panic or Billy show.
